It will be a funny story in a few years!<br /><br />My 5-year-old son did this to himself a few months ago. I had let him go too long without a haircut and his ever-sensitive father (urgh!) said, &quot;boy, you&#39;re starting to look like a girl&quot; a la Hank Hill. Nathan once performed free haircuts in the back of the classroom in 1st or 2nd grade. He hacked this girls hair and the parents were very upset but thank heaven did not come to our house and demand a limb in return. HaHa. Following this classroom exercise, we had to have the infamous scissor conversation. Scissors are for cutting paper. Not random paper but paper given to you for cutting. Scissors are not for cutting your hair, your friends hair, your clothes, your friends clothes or anything inside your home or classroom other then the allowed paper.<br /><br />I have to LAUGH that as parents we even have to have those conversations sometimes.
